Michelle B. Roth, President of Roth Investor Relations, formed
in 1987. She has nearly twenty-five years of experience working with the investment community in an investor relations capacity and has worked with both domestic and international mining companies that have ranged in size from the largest mining houses to small, exploration ventures. Clients’ operations have spanned the globe from North America, to South Africa, Australia and South America.
Ms. Roth had previously worked in-house for a North American mining company and was employed by an independent investor relations consulting firm, where she was responsible for creating and implementing investor relations programs. Her client list included companies in the following industries: mining; health care; conglomerates; trucking; high technology; biotechnology and retailing. Ms. Roth’s previous five years of experience on Wall Street included positions at an investment advisory firm, which managed portfolios totaling over $700 million, and at a major brokerage house. Responsibilities included management of fixed income and discretionary portfolios as well as researching new investment opportunities.
Michelle Roth earned her Master of Business Administration in Finance from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the State University of New York at Albany.
Larry H. Roth, Executive Vice President, has worked with the investment community while at various New York City investor and public relations agencies since 1980. Mr. Roth was responsible for all aspects of the investor relations programs he created for clients in the mining, health care, environmental, high technology, biotechnology and leisure and entertainment fields.
In addition, Mr. Roth has several years of experience working both as a publicist and as a writer for a number of trade publications. As a publicist, he placed stories for clients in consumer publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Business Week. He has also arranged for clients to be interviewed on several television stations in major markets across the country. Mr. Roth served in an editorial capacity for Chemical Marketing Reporter, Chemical Business and Office World News -- a Hearst publication.
Larry Roth earned his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of South Carolina.
Cindy McLavish, Senior Account Executive has over twenty years experience in the investment banking and investor relations sectors. Her responsibilities at
include organizing conference calls and webcast, logistics for roadshows and facility tours and management of databases. Before joining Roth Investor Relations in 1994, she worked for Goldman, Sachs & Co. for seven years in the Global Finance department, where she arranged client meetings, planned detailed travel itineraries and extensive bookkeeping. Before working for Goldman, Sachs & Co., Ms. McLavish was employed by the United States Trust Company of New York.
Ms. McLavish graduated from The Cittone Business Institute and also attended the American Banking Institute studying trusts, wills and estates.
Travis Waltsak, Account Executive, graduated from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington in North Carolina in 2005. There he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. His responsibilities at
include creating and editing press releases, fielding investor’s questions, setting meetings with institutional investors and working closely with artists for graphic and website design.
Prior to joining Roth Investor Relations in June 2007, Travis worked for The United States Army as a Contract Specialist at Fort Monmouth in Eatontown, New Jersey with responsibility for purchasing communications and electronics equipment.
